The quest to find the super-gift

I am completely clueless when it comes to gift ideas for friends/family/etc. But for parents shopping for kids or teens, probably more for girls (Although this is a totally Unisex game) There is Nancy Drew games for PC that are extremely fun. My brother and I loved to get these for Christmas, birthdays, and whatnot, and seeing as there's 10 or 12 of these games out now, you have a huge selection, and if your kid will love one, you're set for the rest. Actually, we only need 3 more before we have them all.

Okay so maybe the idea of parading around as a female detective looking for bad guys doesn't sound too good at first.. But for anyone who's read Nancy Drew, you know that she's no Pamela Anderson in VIP. These games are brilliantly fun little puzzles, and the graphics are great, too. Each game has a unique setting; Out on Moon Lake, looking for a notorious gangsters' treasure; at a museum, trying to figure out the mystery behind a Mayan Monolith; or even in an old Theater, looking for your kidnapped friend before the Theater itself is demolished! You have different difficulty settings, and you can explore almost everything, looking for clues wherever possible. Nancy can even call her friends Bess and George for clues when you're in a tight spot. I urge you to try one of these games, I swear you'll find yourself sending your kids to bedtime one hour earlier so you can play it. Oh, that's the best thing, too. Kids will love for you to play this with them. What better than a little family bonding?

Here's a screencaps from my favourite game, Ghost Dogs on Moon Lake:

Oooh, spooky cabin! In this game, you can go to bed for night and day settings. Always remember to ask questions; leave no stone unturned! Beware the creaky floorboards... >_>

Oh and for peers.. Don't be afraid to try these games.. They're really entertaining and they were meant to be for all ages. I lend these to my friends and they love them. It's very addictive, too. Five-star. For sure.
